Tiffany Bow

"The anticipation of a gift is as important as seeing the gift," a Tiffany jewelry ever said. "Women get excited when they see the Tiffany box, and when they untie the bow." Tiffany's blue box is famous; the Tiffany bow almost as much so. "The client is part of the presentation process," she continues. "The item is placed in a blue suede pouch, and then put into the appropriately sized box. Then it's tied up in ribbon, all in front of the customer. The bow must be perfect, or the associate will start again with fresh ribbon."
At this point, Tiffany has been doing great, which is displayed in the Tiffany bow. A Tiffany bow is special because of its requiring no knot. Greg Mark, a sales associate at Tiffany & Co., shows the customers how to tie one on the spot. Pulling the ribbon taut across the bottom of the box, then Mark crosses it at the centre of the box's top. He loops only one end of the ribbon under the box again, bringing it all the way back to the top, and crosses it again. Forming a loop in one hand, and another loop in the other, he ties them loosely, cutting off extra-ribbon with extra-sharp scissors. After all the process, a perfect bow is displayed. Not too large, nor floppy. Anytime you pull it, it falls apart without a fuss. "I would say that two out of three clients choose the red ribbon over the white at Christmas," Mark adds.
