Woman in court Loves Tiffany Jewelry

It is well recognized that Tiffany jewelry has been the favorite piece of celebrities worldwide. And this time Tiffany was on the top line because of a woman, who was accused of transferring more than $45 million from accounts associated with the financial services giant.
This Sydney woman, working as an accountant for ING Australia, was alleged to have amassed tens of millions of dollars before spending most of it in Tiffany & Co., Chanel, Bulgari, other designer stores and buying up prime real estate, included more than $13 million at Bulgari, $1 million at Chanel and nearly $300,000 at Tiffany & Co, as well as $18 million on properties at Bondi Beach, Kirribilli and in the city. She also indulged her taste for Michael Jackson memorabilia and plush interior decor.
It was claimed by the police that in early October ING staff searched Ms Subramaniam's Kent Street office and discovered a cache of designer goods. Taken to Mascot police station where police say Ms Subramaniam admitted to transferring about $13 million in the past 18 months from ING accounts; she now faces a maximum 20-year jail sentence. She did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody until February 26.
