Carved from Japanese hardwood, the handcrafted bangles require multiple layers of green and orange lacquer, time-honored colors of the craft, or the sumptuous purple created especially for Tiffany. The sleek, sensuous result is then polished, and gold hallmarks are applied, which working together to make the bangles lightweight though dramatic in scale.
